      <title>2026 Young Ag Leader Scholarship Recipient Announcement</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Cayden Goslee, of Glenville has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 MNICCA Scholarship, recognizing students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to agriculture.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A graduate of Lyle Public School, Goslee plans to attend South Dakota State University to pursue a degree in Precision Agriculture with a minor in Agronomy. He plans to become a precision agriculture specialist consultant, helping farmers use technology to improve yields, reduce input costs, and&lt;br&gt;
promote environmental sustainability.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Goslee has been active in numerous school and community organizations, including National Honor Society, FFA (serving as club president), 4-H, and the Mower County Pork Producers program. He has&amp;nbsp;also served as Mower County Youth Beef Superintendent and volunteered with several local&lt;br&gt;
organizations and events.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Growing up on his family’s farm, Goslee developed a strong passion for agriculture and is committed to supporting the future of farming through innovation and sustainable practices.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About our scholarship:&lt;/strong&gt; MNICCA directs a significant portion of our annual membership dues to fund this scholarship in support if the next generation of agricultural leaders. Our partnership with the MN FFA Foundation allows us to reach high school instructors in more than 200 vocational agricultural&lt;br&gt;
departments across the state of Minnesota.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About MNICCA:&lt;/strong&gt; We are Minnesota’s association of independent crop consultants who derive our income by offering independent, objective and professional advice in the matters relating to crop production for our clients.       <title>2025 Young Ag Leader Scholarship Recipient Announcement</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Addison Blume, a high school senior attending Herman-Norcross Secondary School was announced as the 2025 MNICCA scholarship recipient at our annual meeting held in St. Cloud on February 18, 2025.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Blume has been involved in agriculture for many years. &amp;nbsp;She started showing dairy heifers in 2&lt;sup&gt;nd&lt;/sup&gt; grade, falling in love showing animals. &amp;nbsp;During elementary school she started a rabbit business, breeding and selling them for butchering. &amp;nbsp;In her high school years she has been raising hogs and having them butchered each August.&amp;nbsp; Addison grew to love the beef industry and now has cattle on the farm and hopes to show a cow/calf pair in the future. &amp;nbsp;She was shown a goat and beef cattle in 4-H, FFA and open class at the state fair. &amp;nbsp;She was on the FFA dairy judging team making it to state in both 9&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; and 10&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; grade. &amp;nbsp;With help from her mentor, Randy Larson, she and her crops team made it to the state FFA contest her junior year and have inspired numerous other students to study agronomy.&amp;nbsp; Addison was chapter FFA president for 3 years, has earned the Star Farmer Award and is working towards achieving the State Farmer degree.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Addison has volunteered at her local CHS retail outlet helping out with a variety of tasks learning what agronomists do in their daily work. She is a captain on her school basketball and softball teams, FCCLA treasurer, student council vice-president, serves on the yearbook committee and a National Honor Society member. Addison is confident her experiences will lead to success in the agricultural industry.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Addison plans to major in agronomy at SDSU in Brookings beginning fall 2025.&amp;nbsp; Her career goal is to become a crop consultant and one day start her own business.&amp;nbsp; She cannot wait to see what the future holds and is excited about the new opportunities, experiences, and challenges that come her way.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>2024 Young Ag Leader Scholarship Recipient Announcement</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 15px;" face="Calibri, sans-serif"&gt;Wyatt Glessing, a high school senior attending Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School, was recently announced as the 2024 MNICCA scholarship recipient at the organization’s annual meeting held February 20, 2024 in Mankato.&amp;nbsp; Wyatt is the son of Dan and Seena Glessing of rural Waverly, MN.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="line-height: 20px;"&gt;&lt;font style="font-size: 15px;" face="Calibri, sans-serif"&gt;Wyatt has developed and demonstrated his leadership skills participating in school activities such as the FFA, 4-H, and National Honor Society, to name a few, while simultaneously completing numerous college courses.&amp;nbsp; He has been active in community activities such as Adopt-A-Highway, Project Caring, toy and corn drives for the area fire departments, and is a multi-year blood donor, among others.&amp;nbsp; Wyatt’s FFA accomplishments include serving as chapter vice-president and president and participating on many winning teams at state and national levels in ag communications, nursery/landscaping, veterinary science and dairy judging (team and individual), and others. &amp;nbsp;His work experience centers on the family-run dairy operation where he has grown his own personal herd from one heifer, in 2018, to 15 dairy animals, currently.&amp;nbsp; Wyatt plans to attend South Dakota State University this fall pursuing a degree in precision ag with a minor in agronomy.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Following graduation, he plans to return to the family farm focusing on leveraging efficiencies in crop production and animal reproductive health and milk production by employing new and improved technologies.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
